Paddlefest meets NSR

The first Paddlefest took place this past weekend and Love it Live it was there. We had a great time, chatting to people who visited our stand and partying at the National Student Rodeo.



Love it Live it sponsored the NSR and we gave away a free two-week trip to the White Nile in a raffle. Congratulations to Jethro from Leeds; click here to see what he won!

The event was held at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham, which has had it's slalom course closed all winter for refurbishment. Everyone was keen to try out the 'new course', I stayed around til Monday so I could paddle without the crowds. The changes have created more small features and less slack flows, making the course more like other modern slalom courses.
